Sunday Evening Bike Ride

It was a gorgeous evening. So warm still that I didn't need a jacket. Farmers were busy mowing the grass and the air was filled with the scent of cut grass. I headed out along country lanes and returned by the cycle path. I couldn't decide which photo of the pink hawthorn I liked best so have included both. A magical evening. Back to cooler days now though, and rain is heading our way...

I've been transported to wonderland again! Scotland seems to be calling me this morning, 3rd time now for a Scottish connection for me in the space of half an hour. Wonderful photos and lovely blue sky. We have the grey skies and rain again here in the Midlands. x

Oh such beauty, such gorgeous pics - take me back to Scotland - you know I'm in tears here? No kidding! I must be depressed!
The hawthorn is magic and I must tell you that the smell of freshly cut grass and hawthorn (not necessarily together!) must be just about my favourite smells in all the world!
Thank you so much,
Joy x

Oh my goodness, what a wonderful post. Your photos are lovely. They completely took my breath away and made me want to jump on the next plane north :-) So lush and green.
