Unseasonal

I'm loving all the snowy photos currently featuring on many blogs and I've taken numerous ones myself too but...

...my USB reader has stopped working so I can't upload any of my lovely snowy photos.

Yesterday we had several more inches of fabulous powdery snow, just perfect for sledging...

...but not for driving, many main roads in Scotland are still blocked or only "passable with care".

Fortunately it's not been "extremely necessary" for me to travel anywhere so we've just been able to enjoy the snow. It is absolutely beautiful, still covering all the tree branches which is when it looks at its best I think.

So while Amazon are getting my USB stick to me through the snow...

...I thought I'd share these photos taken at the beginning of May in our garden which I was too busy to include in a blog post at the time.

Looking through my photos from that time of year reminded me what a late Spring it was.

But very pretty and always very welcome.

Now that we're well into December and time starts flying by as I try to catch up with all my plans for Christmas, Spring will be here before we know it. Having said that, I'm getting impatient to upload my photos - I want my blog to look wintry and beautiful too!

How nice to have a reminder of Summer in the midst of all this cold and snow. I'd just like to say that your African Flower Blanket is may all time favourite crochet blanket and I can only hope to make one as nice. Rachael

You poor thing not being able to upload. But, I will take all these flower shots any day. We have enough snow already and now it's about 7 out. Not sure what that is over there, but might-ie cold here. Your breathe freezes just going to the mail/post....

Hope to see you back up and running again soon. More flowers until then.

Absolutely beautiful photos, especially the tulips. I love tulips, but I can't grow them here.
Fingers crossed that you can sort out your USB reader problem. I love seeing your wintery photos.

Wow, I've almost forgotten how much colour spring flowers have. There's not a lot of colour around just now - altho' it is ever so pretty. I hope you get a new USB and back into action soon. Juliex

How beautiful, and how alien! Seems so strange to think that your garden actually really did look like that at one time instead of being a blanket of white.

It's quite nice to see something other than snow, frost, fog or mud!
Thanks for brightening up my day :)

You've made my day with these photos, Anne, especially the baby leaves. Here's hoping the technical issues are resolved soon.
