It arrived this afternoon. Out of the padded envelope slid this little packet wrapped in deep turquoise tissue paper...
...and inside were these wonderful gifts - one of Jane's new range of Tudor Rose brooches, two hair clips and a bar of Thornton's chocolate. Such generosity, it made my day!
Lovely. I just need to get myself a nice jacket to wear it with now! It rather showed up my old brown cord one I normally wear at this time of year (that is when it's not raining - my practical but extremely boring grey waterproof has been getting a lot of wear recently, though the weather is now sunny again and due to remain so for the weekend - hurrah!).
A kindly modelled the hair slides for me.
She put them in herself as you can probably tell, and they stayed in till she went to bed.As for the chocolate... gone!
