Better Late than Never...

A few things...

The decorations are still up.
We are still eating Christmas goodies.
We've a panto trip booked.
There's not been a single sign of snow yet this winter.
We have a warm house! We now realise that the heating hasn't been working at proper capacity for several years. The exceptionally mild weather is also helping too.
We're finally going to see the new Star Wars film later today.
Over the hoidays I met up with old work colleagues last seen over 10 years ago. None of us had changed (other than all getting a little wider!), we started off as if we'd never left.
I'm thinking sorting out photos for blogging takes up too much time - I'm afraid Instagram is winning.
However, for the record here are some festive pics from around the house. I do like to look back on these now and again...

I hope anyone still reading had a lovely Christmas and I wish you all a Happy New Year! Lang may yer lum reek...

Stunning photos as always. Like the little figures under the clock. I've been on Facebook for a while now but I have to admit it has little attraction compared to a blog where at least you can be ruler of your own little kingdom and arrange it to your tastes but if you are pressed for time it is a lot of work to keep it up every week for very little reward.
Best wishes for the year ahead.

Happy New Year! Love all your photo's, very atmospheric. Yes the old IG debate/dilemma. I really enjoy IG but it is no substitute for blogging, and I really hope that people continue blogging, and don't switch exclusively to IG. x

It would seem that we are all agreed that reading your blog is nicer than Instagram. I can't do Instagram because I don't have a smartphone, so please keep on blogging.

Happy New Year to you and your family.
