Random pics from Nov so far, some may even be from the end of Oct...
Yummy paella and tapas. Lovely night but a sad occasion really. A goodbye to a friend who could take our western Scottish weather no more and has now relocated to the sunnier climes of Somerset...
Amazing how adding some seeds makes the bread maker bread look fab.
Still loving my drive to school. This one was from the view point car park. I did later take some sneaky ones en-route when able to slow down due to being on my own or stuck behind slow drivers...
Lovely frosty weekend morning. Some pics from the garden...
N had Star the dragon home. I wrote out what he wanted to say about him and he copied it into the jotter.
Beautiful evening skies...
I've been making more window stars.
I actually used these to base my crit lesson on. We looked at shape properties, angle sizes and lines of symmetry as we made them. I'll be going in early on Monday to stick 25 stars on the classroom windows. Four kids were off, would otherwise have had 29 to do. I passed my crit, woohoo! Such a relief! I've so much admiration for teachers now knowing what they have to go through not just day to day but in qualifying to be a teacher in the first place.
A last look at the view on the way home after my crit on Friday.
Still two weeks of placement to go. I'm teaching for my first full day on Mon so that will be interesting...
Good luck with the teaching. Something I always wanted to do, but never quite the right time or place to make it happen. And probably too old now!
Gorgeous pictures. Well done for passing and good luck for Monday!
Om my goodness, you have provided us with such beautiful eye candy today. Gorgeous pictures.
Gorgeous photos Anne. I love the views from your school journey and the sunset and the stars are beautiful.
So pleased to hear your course is going well.
Lovely photos, do you miss your bike rides?
I love those stars.....do you think my year five and sixes could make them?
What great photos. I'm glad the teaching is going well, those stars look amazing!
Always like your colours and eye for a photograph. At no time have I thought 'Wish I was a teacher' though, maybe because I went to school in Pollok :)
Wow, I absolutely love your drive to school too:-) The landscape is gorgeous!!!
Lovely uplifting photos. Good luck for Monday!x
Congratulations on passing your crit! I'm full of admiration for teachers, having to concentrate every minute they're in the classroom. To people who think teachers have it easy with long holidays, I would say they need them.
You have such a good eye for taking pics and you live in a stunning area...one day we will come to Scotland, we threatened to this year only to come back down to earth with a bump when we were reminded about the midges in August.
I'm glad your tp is going well, and your teaching day is today I guess, so i hope it goes swimmingly! Love the stars, so effective!
Fabulous photos - I LOVE the window stars. Thanks for the shop visit, I really do appreciate it :) Bethx
I have just discovered your blog. So beautiful! Carla
Wow, it's wonderful to see the frost! We don't really get any that dramatic here. And your bread machine makes me think (again) of getting one. Hmm. Hope your teaching is going well. I find teaching a mix--great being with the kids, not always so great with admins and official paperwork, etc.
So many gorgeous pics Anne, what a lovely drive to work.....
Love the 7th photo, the blue/grey of the sky against the coppery tones of the trees and then the green field.....just beautiful.
You certainly live in a picturesque spot.
The window stars look great, what a fun way to learn about angles and symmetry then make something so pretty.
N's little story is so sweet, it's one to keep with all the other special things...........
