It's that time of year again...

A time-consuming exercise but one I find very rewarding - worthwhile just to re-discover so much that has been forgotten, plus it's very satisfying to see it all laid out this way. I'm sure this kind of thing is of more interest to blog owners rather than to blog readers, but for what it's worth here's a very short summary for each month...
January: I started the puff daisy blanket (need to dig this one out and get working on it again in 2013).
February: Hubby's birthday. Some sorting of the patchwork hexagons - another project needing attention...
March: Gorgeous weather, I started N's "garish" blanket, daisy blanket progress.
April: I completed the "same but different" blanket. The first of the rhubarb and a last (little) snowfall.
May: Hot, hot, hot! Wasn't it lovely! I complete the "garish blanket" and started a granny square blanket.
June: Snails. Birthdays, agricultural show driven completion of tapestry cushion, granny blanket progress.
July: Holidays in Norfolk. I began another crescent moon shawl. One more birthday.
August: Butterflies at last. Peas at last!
September: I discover the joys of needlefelting.
October: A holiday in Angus. I finish making and joining the squares for the granny blanket.
November: Beautiful frosty days.
December: The first snowfall of winter. Crochet snake and Christmas time.
While I'm at it, here's a link to the 2011 mosaics (which includes a description of how I do them), the 2010 mosaics and the 2009 mosaics.
Now to wish everybody a Happy New Year! I wonder what 2013 will hold...

A lovely selection of photos, it's so great to see sunny pictures and be reminded of sunshine at this time of year. Lovely crochet work too. Heather x
A busy and colourful year :)
Here's to more crochet in 2013 and of course plenty of sunny days for family time and bike rides :)
Your mosaics are lovely, and yes, they are incredibly rewarding to put together. I like your photos very much! Happy new year to you.

Anne, your mosaics are a great way to remember the year that has passed.
I didn't comment on the previous post, but I just love your photos of the Wintry countryside and I can imagine them compiled into one of those coffee table books.
The sort of book I would buy and drool over the stunning scenery and dream about visiting....
Here's to a wonderful 2013, captured by your camera.
