A Snowy Walk.

The snow from the weekend had mostly gone by yesterday, but today we got more. N and I had a snowy walk to the local toddler group this morning.

His Fireman Sam brolly kept him nice and dry.

The snow was falling in big fat flakes and I had high hopes of it getting nice and deep (I like snow, just so long as I don't have to drive in it).

I photographed it on and off during the day from the living room window...

The first flakes starting to fall at about breakfast time.

Beginning to lie just before we left the house for toddlers.

Early afternoon, as thick as it got - not very! It turned into disappointingly soggy and wet snow.

Later on the sun came out.

Hmm, I wonder if that'll be the last snow before Spring finally arrives.

We were forecast snow but it bypassed us. Your village looks lovely, very country ish and way to go for Fireman Sam

we had snow at the weekend and Rob's journey up the A9 was very unpleasant yesterday at 6am. Hoping that's the end of it until next winter as I am impatient now to get going on the veg patch!

Dear Anne, thanks for the photos. We had hail and thunder and lightning and tons of rain today. I have some pix of it on my blog...

Hugs from Oregon, USA -- Teresa :-)

Snow again...I started to get used to the idea of Spring arriving! I have to say how beautiful the area you live is! Such character and lovely views.
I like the glass ball. I have a purple one which is called a "witches ball". The idea is that it is meant to trap them. I was told that after I bought just because I liked the look of it :0)

Yes let's hope this is the last of the winter weather. Sun is out today and it's almost melted the remains of the snow, I am desperate for spring.
