I've three main crochet projects currently on the go.
First, there's the blanket...
...yes, yes it's still the same one. It's all done apart from sewing in the ends which I have a go at now and again. I've set myself a deadline of May 31st to finally finish it...
Next there's the green thing...
...which not so very long ago looked like this.
Then it turned into...
...this (excuse the dinosaur, 50p CS bargain, N loves it).
I still had two balls of wool left so I've decided to add sleeves.
I tried to take some photos of me wearing it without the sleeves just so I had a record. N kept wanting in on the action, it seem unfair to hide my face but leave his so here we both are (and the dinosaur).
One sleeve is now done, I hope to have the cardigan finished for the end of the week and will post the pattern links (it's free!), etc then.
Finally, I'm making another Eva's shawl, this time for my Mum hence the rather muted blue yarn choice.
It survived being run over by the new truck (£2 CS bargain) and has since grown too.
By the way, although we've been lucky with toy bargains in the charity shops recently, any nice vintage finds are few and far between. Anyone else having better luck?
Off now to get hooking...

Lol - I LOVE those photos where your son has "helped" - my son does this too and very often has to get a gratuitous car shot in the background of the photo. Sometimes I put them on the blog - I should put more on really as they are fun!
My daughter is part of a Racing Car club at school whereby they have to build a racing car from kit form and then compete against other schools to race it. To raise funds for it and for other essentials such as the battery, etc the club has been having Toy and Book sales at the school where parents have been donating old toys and books to sell to help raise the necessary cash. At 50p for toys and books it's brilliant and I have found some great items. I once found a Reader Digest Knitting and Sewing Book and it was a mere 50p - bargain!!
Hello! Andamento, your green cardigan is LOVELY and the blanket will be a fantastic heirloom finished or not!
I love the way your son gets in on the act one way or another! Great photos and very very neat crochet!

I'm still drooling over that blanket!
You have been busy! Gorgeous blanket...truly. Would love to see some more photos ot it. Cute boy too! x
Yep that blanket is a real credit to you! Much nicer than the average afghan.
I'm not taking on any big crochet projects this year...but then you've seen my patchwork quilt!
Carry on.
ps I like your top without sleeves!
Well, it's very nice to see your face at last!
I do so love your blue blanket. And I've made a note of the pattern for those beautiful shawls ... It's still stinking hot here, but time to start contemplating (at least) projects to take me into winter.
What a busy bee you are! The cardigan looks fab, with or without sleeves. N looks adorable and you're quite cute yourself!

It's lovely to see your face at last.
You are certainly motoring through your crochet.
I love the blanket it's absolutely gorgeous. It's never going to be cold enough here to wear either a crochet jacket or shawl, so I will just admire yours.
Your cardigan is wonderful.
I've been on the look-out for cutlery and plates/bowls and despite being more than happy to have mis-matched I haven't bought a single wthing. Where has it all gone?! Juliex
Love that green yarn and look forward to seeing the cardigan with sleeves!
Wow, that blanket reminds me of the beautiful glass dishes from Murano in Italy with all the different glass colours. So gorgeous. What a wonderful achievement. What will you do with it when it is completed?
Your cardi looks great! Did you make it up or was it from a pattern?
I recently bought a Nigela book from a CS and when I got home realised I already had it! Nice wee gift for a friend then!
I love the crochet cardi and nice to see you! Boys in photos make me laugh, I can't take a picture of anything without F wanting to be in it and I've just discovered loads of shots taken by C on my iphone, didn't even knew he how to do this (they are mostly of his feet). Hope you're having a lovely weekend. Bethx
