I finally finished the needlework earlier this year, a mere 10 years after starting it. I still have the envelope it was posted in so could check the date.
Now I "just" need to block it and then make it up into a cushion cover. I WILL do this before the end of this year...
... or else!
Edited (11-08-09) to say that the tapestry kit was from Ehrman who currently have a sale on (though The Orange Tree is not on special offer). I've just bought my next one - Pansy Bowl by Kaffe Fassett, I saw a photo of it made up into a cushion & it looks better than in the picture on the Ehrman website.

I have a couple of needlepoint cushions which took about ten years from start to finish. But you must be a very neat needlewoman - mine are always completely squiffy by the time I have finished, and totally beyond my abilities to block straight again!

This post makes me laugh as I also have a tapestry kit unfinished that must be about 10 yrs old. Maybe I should get it out and start stitching again?
