Caerlaverock, Flowers & Spaceships.

Hello! We're just back from another visit to the grandparents.

Granny's garden is still looking gorgeously colourful.

Grandpa('s gnome) keeping out the way.

Wish my geraniums look liked this.

We also took a trip to nearby Caerlaverock castle.

We even dragged Granny out to a car boot sale. Amongst stocking up on yet more books for the children I bought a lovely little jug...

... perfect for holding some flowers from the garen - our garden this time!

I'm rather impressed with how it all looks, given the current state of our garden.

We also popped along to the local TK Maxx for some more bargain hunting.

I got two of these fantastic plastic plates for just 70p each. I had been looking for some to use for summer cakes in the garden, these are perfect!

Back home and it's pouring with rain. The morning looked promising enough for me to hang my washing out, it's still out...

A made some spaceships with her Klutz Fun with Felt...

...nice & colourful for what is now a very dull day.

I've some more shopping treasures/junk from our trip that I haven't managed to photograph yet, I'll get them sorted soon, bet you can't wait.

Lovely flower pictures - it shows that it can be done, even in August. Next year I will try to get it right!

Love the photos, especially the castle walls. Great to find another masonry enthusiast! I think you should set up a blog to immortalise all A's artwork - she is very good.

Hello,

I just wanted to pop along and say 'hi' from here. I did try and leave a comment on your newest posting, but for some reason blogger wasn't having any of it.

Anyway, 'Hello' again it's lovely to meet you.

Have a lovely rest of the weekend,

Nina x
