Well, Alex (or was it Bob?) did ask...
Pause beside a field, and before you even get a chance to get your camera out they're on their way...
...all now up on their feet (or should that be hooves)...
...nearly there...
...done! All but one (who's lurking behind the two on the left) are now nicely lined up. And that's it. Needs to be young cows though, the old ones aren't bothered enough to move.
Perhaps my next post will be more exciting.

This simple post makes me very happy, actually. I do like cows, even when they are standing stolidly in the middle of my road when I am trying to do the school run.
lol ...
Hilarious! You will be renaming your blog The Cow Whisperer.
thought you might be interested in this article, if you haven't already seen it. I'm sure you could give lots of advice to women cyclists.

You definitely seem to have a way with cows!!!x
Gosh Anne, I just love visiting your blog everyday. And I adore your cow photos. Aren't they just the coolest animals? We had cows when I was growing up, and they are so very sweet...and they really do follow you around. They are very curious and (most) love getting petted. We had a youngster once who loved to suck on our hands. Seems kinda gross now, but as kids we thought it was the greatest thing...;)
Thank you for sharing your beautiful world with us. I just love it so much.
blessings, sarita
Ah...the secret is revealed.
Funny thing is, I have cows in the field behind my house and never thought of taking pics of them.!
I do however bestow names on the herd :)
Alex. ( not Bob )
