April Garden

I'm a bit late with these photos. April is when there first seems to suddenly be lots to see in the garden so I've always done an April garden post. Opportunities to get out in the garden are more limited these days but I did manage several attempts...









 
  









It's the first time the little purple magnolia has flowered and we've also had the largest number of camelia blooms ever.

I like when the cat follows me round the garden.

There's a reason why there are no whole-garden photos - it's a mess overall, but beautiful when you look closely.

    Sounds like our garden, parts are great, but with almost an acre to deal with parts are still a jungle.

    Beautiful. I especially love the small white flowers, they look so nice in profusion that way. The cat photos are lovely too.

    Looking closely is the best way to enjoy most things, I think. What a lovely lacy leaf-skeleton in that last photo. The flowers are beautiful one and all. I'm wondering what the yellow blossoms are?

    Hope you're having a pleasant spring and able to take some rides. My rides have been pretty sparse, but things are picking up now. I thought of you on yesterday's ride as I was shooting flowers from underneath.... :)

    It's a sad day when you cant even get out into your garden:o) Lovely photos as usual. I have a neighbours cat with similar colours who is fascinated by the bumble bee hive in my cellar. Watches them for hours, tail twitching.

    Well the details are stunning whether or not the whole is messy. And that last shot of the leaf skeleton on the stone is fantastic :)

    I often do garden photos like that...lots of lovely detail but over all ours is badly overgrown, still at least you have flowers!
