More Holiday Scenes...

I'm having a very busy couple of weeks. I hope to share some of what we've been up to later, in the meantime, and before the memories fade completely, I want to post some more images of our holiday in Kirkcudbright.

A photo-mosaic of some of the interesting details there are all around the town.

Monday Evening Bike Ride... We'd taken the bikes with us and hubby and I took turns to get out for cycle rides in the evenings. On my first trip I cycled down the coast to Ross Bay.

It was a beautiful evening and the water as seen here from the bridge was lovely and still, perfect for reflecting the boats in the harbour.

I stopped off at a little bay. The thrift was blooming everywhere!

Some pebble sculptures on the beach.

Such a gorgeous evening. The bay is lovely and still. The moon has risen (top left).

Cow silhoutted by the setting sun.

Boat & cottage at Ross bay.

The sun has almost set behind Borgue as I return to Kirkcudbright.

More to follow...

  4. Your photos are really gorgeous Anne and the scenery is stunning. It looks a beautiful place to visit. Love the photo montage, and in particular the old mangle. We used to have one when we were kids.

  14. I have really enjoyed looking at the photos. I think that I may have been there before as a child, I'll have to ask my parents. Some of the pictures look familiar to me.

I very much like your latest crochet creation. The colours and pattern are so pretty!

    Have a lovely weekend
    Warm wishes
