Boom!

This made me laugh lots...

Hope you enjoyed it too! I think it would be soooo funny to go to a show like that. Our local Guy Fawkes firework display was on Friday night, but as we were late I'm actually glad ours did follow a more conventional pattern on this occasion or we'd have missed it all.

My best attempt at a firework photo.

  1. What a shame! It was spectacular though. Your picture of fireworks is better than any I have ever tried to take. I frequently log on to the Oban web-cams, it is a beautiful area.

  4. It's exactly like the "grand finales" of our local fireworks show. I rather like the abbreviated approach. Thanks for putting a Monday morning smile on my face. :)

P.S. How DO people take fireworks photos? I've never succeeded yet. Congrats on yours!

  6. Hope everyone remembered ear-defenders for the kids! I think it must have been brilliant, even if the organisers were a wee bit red-faced...

  7. My mum lives beside the park where the display was. She nipped through the back to check the dog, came back to watch and had missed the whole thing! ;-)
